About
My name is JoAnn Axtell. I am an educator, taught middle school for 17 years and have been involved in staff development and adult education for 9 years. Most of my experience has been with the school communities of the Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph, in Kansas City, Missouri. I am currently coordinating a math/science grant from the Kauffman Foundation. The focus of the grant is to improve math instruction and achievement in our schools by concentrating on quality professional development for all who teach math and/or science.
